Sash and casement windows are available in several styles and in a range of sizes. Windows are fixed in place by positioning in the wall opening and gluing either the architrave flange or the exterior window surround to the wall. Larger windows are most easily glazed with acetate or other clear plastic glued to the inside of the window frame before installation in the wall. Smaller window panes can be glazed with proprietary liquid glass products.
N Scale windows are printed in FUD (Frosted Ultra Detail).
Window sets have been produced for a number of the Scalescenes card kits. The range of card kits being catered for will be increased over time. All windows that are sized to suit Scalescenes kits have "SS" at the beginning of their names.
Windows are available in OO and N Scale and can be made to any size. If the size you want isn't there, email me.
Windows can be ordered by type and size. Sets of OO scale windows will be printed on a nylon loop which keeps them together during the printing and cleaning process at Shapeways and significantly reduces the cost. Some sets still have to have the loop added ( I have quite a number to be upgraded). If yo see something that you want that hasn't been upgraded, email me and I will put it top the top of the upgrade queue.
